Sounds: The Pronunciation Application for Android and iPad

Recently, Sounds Foundation by Adrian Underhill has won the ELTon award for Innovation in Learner Resources for his great effort in design mobile application Sounds: The Pronunciation Application.
This application includes an interactive phonemic chart, vocabulary wordlists (British and American English), quizzes and practice tests. You can download this magnificent application for free or paid version on Android Market or Application store

Well, for me this application is really easy to use. You just need to touch the screen with your finger and “voila” you can hear sound from phonemic chart.

The most interesting about this pronunciation application is you can challenge yourself through Quiz section to see how well you understand phonemic chart.

Now, you no longer need to open your pronunciation book to find IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) chart and then you still confused about how does it sounds. New technology has brought Phonemic Chart looks more friendly for teachers and students. So, what are you waiting for? Boost your pronunciation skill with this Sounds anytime and anywhere you like.
